Mr. Villaseņor has over 17 years of combined litigation, trial and transactional experience in complex business, corporate, intellectual property, real estate, professional liability, and general litigation matters. Mr. Villaseņor effectively represents clients in the prompt resolution or litigation of complicated business and real estate disputes. His diverse legal experience and business sense provide the essential ingredients to successfully resolve litigation disputes.
Prior to joining Catalyst Law Group, Mr. Villaseņor worked for two reputable law firms in San Diego representing major insurance companies in the defense of medical and dental malpractice, real estate, construction and product defects, and general litigation matters. He started his own law firm in 1992. Over the years, Mr. Villaseņor has represented clients in effectively resolving and litigating hundreds of complicated business and real estate disputes, participated in hundreds of arbitrations, mediations, and trials and served as lead counsel in 18 civil trials.
Mr. Villaseņor also brings invaluable transactional experience in intellectual property and real estate matters. He worked as In-House Counsel for WindRiver in the Professional Services Division preparing and negotiating complex engineering services contracts and license agreements. In addition, he served as Corporate Counsel for SAIC in the Real Estate Leasing Department preparing and negotiating commercial leases, and drafting opinion letters regarding a myriad of intricate commercial lease and due diligence issues. His diverse experience and business sense provide the essential ingredients to successfully resolve litigation disputes.
Mr. Villaseņor received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego in 1986. He was awarded a Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in 1989. He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in California.
